So you’ve got your results, waved goodbye to the classroom, and you’re coming up to Cambridge! Being a fresher is really exciting, but it can also be quite daunting with a new city, new friends and a new course to get used to.
We’ve got lots of things going on for students – Sunday services, student lunches, small groups – so come along and have a look. All these are great ways to get to know other students and get a feel for whether St Andrew the Great could be the church family for you whilst at Cambridge.
We'd love to help you make the most of your first few months of university, so if you’d like us to know about you, or if there is anything we can help you with, then please fill out the form below or drop us an email
. We're really looking forward to meeting you in person!
"Going to university is a massive adventure, full of both joys and challenges. As a Fresher, I was so grateful for the extremely welcoming and supportive community at St Andrew the Great, which helped me to look to God and trust Him in the challenges that university brings. Studying the Bible and praying with other Christians at Focus and in one to one meet ups is really encouraging. I'd spur on anyone thinking of getting involved to get stuck in!"
