20s-30s weekend away

10th - 12th February 2017

"Your Word is food for famished ones
Freedom for the slave
Riches for the needy soul
Come speak to us today"

We regularly sing these words in our Sunday services, but do we actually have confidence that they are true? Is God's word really as vital and precious to us as this song claims it should be? Perhaps we sometimes feel dissatisfied with the Bible - why hasn't God given us more than this to help us cope with life? Often we might feel like God's word isn't very clear - how are we meant to understand it for ourselves, let alone explain it to others? Sometimes we might wish that God would speak to each generation afresh, addressing our particular situations. Or maybe we're losing confidence in God's word as we live in a culture which thinks the Bible is outdated at best. Our confidence in the Scriptures flows from our confidence in God, so join us for our weekend away in the beautiful Suffolk countryside where Mike Kendall will be giving four talks about the Bible and the God of the Bible that will help us to grow in our confidence in, love for, and delight in God and His Word.

There’ll also be time to chat with others about the Christian life, Saturday night entertainment, lots of time to relax, have fun, eat some great food and make deeper friendships with others in their 20s-30s.

Mike is pastor of St Neot’s Evangelical Church, where one or two of our HUBsters have recently moved; he's married to Debs and they have three children. We work closely with Mike on church planting and ministry training in the local area.

Sign up here by Sunday 15th January. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis - and in the last couple of years we've been at capacity so book soon to avoid disappointment!
