Internationals

Welcome to Cambridge!

St Andrew the Great is an increasingly international church. We know that moving to another country brings many challenges, and it can be hard living away from home. We would like to welcome you and invite you to be part of our church family during your time in Cambridge.

We have two welcome events: On Sunday 17th September, there's an International Welcome Lunch and on Sunday 15th October, there's a Postgraduate Welcome Dinner in the evening. Come and join us and find out more about what it would be like to part of our church.

The international church groups provide mid-week activities to help us learn together from the Bible, so we can know God better and love him more. Spending time with church members from our home countries and cultures also allows us to support each other whilst in Cambridge, making friends and being family together.

Not a Christian? We always welcome anyone new to Christianity who would like to read the Bible to find out about Jesus. You are invited to join us at any of our events.

International Groups

The regular international church groups that meet are:

International Fellowship (iHUB)
International Fellowship (iHUB) is our church fellowship group for internationals. We meet on Thursday evenings for a home-cooked meal and a short talk, and then get into smaller groups to to study the Bible and pray together (more information here).

International Women’s Groups
We have women's group on Tuesday mornings when we meet for Bible study and prayer in a local home. This includes activities for children. On Thursday mornings we have a group for women and children in the church building. More information here.

We also organise other events during the year to help us get to know others in the church, events for people wanting to find out about Christianity and an annual international weekend away.

If you have any questions, please come along to any of our events or church services, or send us an email
