7.30pm for drinks, followed by a talk at 8.00pm by Sharon Dirckx on 'Why would God allow suffering?'.
Including a Q&A session ending with coffee by 9.30pm.
Sharon Dirckx is Senior Tutor at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. She speaks on the interaction of belief in God with science and with suffering (the subject of her book Why?). Sharon has a Ph.D. in brain imaging and has held research positions in the US and UK.
