“He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. …” (Colossians 1:28)

There is a great work to be done here in Cambridge, serving the students as they grow to maturity in Christ, and raising up the next generation of gospel workers. Would you consider supporting the next 5 years of student ministry at St Andrew the Great?

 Give to the JLT

The Jesus Lane Trust was set up in 1985 and finances gospel ministry among university students at St Andrew the Great (StAG). It currently funds six student workers and four church apprentices.

The student workers have a vital role in this as they follow up individuals, read the Bible one-to-one with freshers, train Bible study leaders, support evangelism in the colleges and teach God’s word in our weekly student lunches and Bible study groups.

Since the previous appeal in 2012, about 70 students have gone into full-time paid gospel ministry. Hundreds more have left Cambridge to get involved in local churches all over the world.

Students themselves cannot afford to cover the cost of the time and care invested in them. So we are seeking to raise £450,000 to pay for another five years of Bible teaching, training, and pastoral care.

Whether or not you decide to continue to give financially we would still love you to be praying for the ministry to students in Cambridge!

Take a look at some of the people who have been supported by the JLT in recent years:

Alice, St Philemon's church, Toxteth
Dan and Geraldine, Oakhill College
Cherry, Beijing
Will, UCCF, Cambridge
Nathan, All Saints church, Preston
Jonnie and Alison, St Peter's church, Harold Wood
Rupert, LDN holiday camps
